Itinerary

You will be picking from Trivandrum Airport / Railway station and drive to Varkala (01 Hr drive).
Afternoon proceed for the sightseeing tour of Varkala - a small, peaceful place just 51 km from Trivandrum international airport and 176 km from Cochin international Airport.
Places to visit: The Janardhanaswamy Temple, also known as Varkala Temple is a temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu built 20 centuries ago. The significant feature of the temple is the huge old bell which is considered an oblation to the temple. Timings are 4am to 12pm and from 5pm to 8pm. Entry is free.
The Papanasam Beach, also known as Varkala Beach, is one of the best beaches in Kerala because of the view it offers from the cliff top. Like its name suggests, its water has medicinal properties and is believed to wash off ones impurities and sins.
The Samadhi situated within the premises of the beach is the resting place of the great philosopher, Sree Narayana Guru and attracts many devotees.
The Kappil Beach, a little away from Varkala, is a beach-backwater destination. The road splitting the two waterbodies [west is the majestic Arabian sea and to the east is the calm and serene backwaters]; the backwater and the Arabian Sea, is a treat to the eye.

After breakfast, check out from the Hotel and drive to Kovalam / Trivandrum (01 hrs); on arrival check-in into hotel.

Enjoy the evening watching a spectacular sunset or swimming at the picturesque Kovalam Beach.
Overnight is to be spent at hotel.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed for the sightseeing tour of Trivandrum.
Thiruvananthapuram, previously called Trivandrum, is an ancient city with tradition dating back to 1000 BC. This capital city of Kerala is a beautiful seaside metropolis built on seven hills.
Places to visit: The Padmanabha Swamy Temple is a pilgrim destination in Trivandrum open only to Hindu pilgrims and is one the oldest temples in India, worshipping Lord Vishnu. The temple is famous for its mythological and religious significance. It receives
pilgrims from 3:30am to 4:5am, 6:30am to 7am, 8:30am to 10am, 10:30am to 11am, 5pm to 6:15pm, 6:45pm to 7:20pm and follows strict code of conduct.
The Shanghumukham Beach is the only reason you need to escape the bustling city to enjoy a beautiful sunset and the rolling shores.
The Napier Museum located in the heart of the capital city of Trivandrum is one of the most engaging and interesting tourism destinations in Kerala. Its geometrical Indo- Sarcenic architecture, the historic exhibits in the National Heritage Museum, the Zoological Park and the art exhibits in the Sri Chitra Art Gallery within the museum are some of the activities open to visitors. The visiting hours are between 10am to 5pm (except on Mondays and Wednesday forenoon). Entrance fees = Rs.20/- per person.
